Scotland Food and Drink  empowers businesses across the sector to drive Scotland’s economy, sustain the environment and support communities. The sector is Scotland’s largest manufacturing employer and worth almost £19 billion, but faces staffing  shortages, geopolitical pressures on trade and a complex net zero transition.

long-term sustainability and resilient communities. That is why we are working together to build a more sustainable food and drink sector. 

Fourteen regional partners support Scotland Food and Drink to deliver important support to SMEs in the sector. The partners long-term resilience, in a challenging economy is a concern and is something that needs addressed to future-proof local support systems. 

Strengthening regional strategy and building long‑term resilience amongst regional partners is critical. And this is where ENVOLV was brought in.

The Solution

ENVOLV gathered insights and data to design a targeted solution that helps partners enhance their offering to industry and secure long‑term investment. This included:

• Governance: embedding best practice to build resilience and minimise risk.

• One‑to‑one clinics: tailored support for live challenges.
