The Challenge
Axiom GRC is a leading provider of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) software and tech-enabled services, offering over 50 compliance products to more than 40,000 clients worldwide.
Axiom GRC formed following Inflexion’s £430 million carve-out from Marlowe PLC.
As a newly formed business they needed to build their own ESG framework and reporting to meet compliance requirements, engage new clients, secure green discounted financial rates and prepare for future investment cycles. They need experts to build ESG from scratch in their Saas business quickly.
The Solution
ENVOLV Founder, Gemma, provided retained ESG expertise to Axiom GRC for 14 months. This meant building ESG in a Saas business that was growing and innovating at pace.
During this time, Axiom GRC acquired more than 5 businesses, increased headcount and moved into the US. During this period of fast growth and change maximising opportunities for sustainable, responsible growth was critical.
Like every project, the aim was to provide bespoke tailored solutions to Axiom GRC, ensuring they focused on and developed the right ESG approach for them.

- Developed SBTi aligned net zero targets and designed a net zero transition plan.
- Supported the Finance Team to secure green finance lender terms.
- Devised and implemented ESG policies.
- Designed client ESG FAQs to enhance sales processes.
- ESG focused Marketing and Communications support during the rebrand to ensure ESG information is accessible to future customers and employees.
